Oh, Happy Day!

Well, I won't keep you in suspense. I sold two poems to Asimov's today!

I'm a happy lad. Getting a note from Gardner Dozois that says "I'll take them" is a nice feeling, one I hope to have repeated in the future...

I was planning to write an entry tonight comparing modern corporations to sharks, and otherwise bitterly ranting... but now I'm in too good a mood. So, instead of that, I think I'll go out in celebrate.

In other good news, my roommate D. (who's cool enough to work at a record store) is picking up Juliana Hatfield's new 2 CD set for me tonight... I can see how that might seem anticlimactic following my other good news, but it makes me happy.
